Do you support families during the perinatal period? Would you like to ensure you are offering sensitive and inclusive care to all families?
Tharseo is partnership with Five Elements Birth Services for an informative workshop on diversity and inclusivity.
“Empathy is the capacity to think and feel oneself into the inner life of another person.” - Heinz Kohut

You will learn about:
~ definitions of gender and sexual diversity
~ inclusive language and why it matters
~ the realities many folks face when trying to access inclusive care providers and services
~ how you as a doula and birthworker may better support your LGBTQIA2S clients with local resources
If you are a birth or postpartum doula, birth or newborn photographer, childbirth educator, offer lactation support, encapsulate placentas, are an L&D nurse, OB/GYN, or midwife, or otherwise work in the field of pregnancy, birth, or postpartum care, this workshop will be of benefit to you and your clients.
